Mangling outlaw spirited alt-country & greasy garage rock they create their own concoction of country junk that'll leave yer bottles empty and yer honky-tonk hearts full.

Caledonia

Caledonia is a musical group duo from Lemont, Pennsylvania founded by William Ryan (guitar/vocal) and Daniel Collins (fiddle, vocal). They formed during the covid pandemic when Ryan began recording some original materials at Collins’ Earwicker studios and the two found an instant musical chemistry. Their sound is centered around Ryan’s vocals and Collins’ fiddle, weaving together elements of country, bluegrass, folk, and Irish music into what they call “country-eastern”. The name Caledonia is a reference to the Caledonia Pike, which begins outside of Philipsburg and ends in the Moshannon State Forest of Clearfield County; Ryan’s birthplace and home to a family cabin from which he draws inspiration for many of his lyrics. They are currently working on their debut album of original material and playing shows throughout the region.

Student, farmer, mail carrier, woodworker, instructor, arts council president, prison librarian, Appalachian Trail hiker, musician. Hannah Bingman has held many titles throughout the years, but the one that’s been glued to her through them all is musician. Bingman sees herself as a songwriter first, guitarist second, and singer third. These experiences continue to provide depth and meaning to her lyrics, maturing her songwriting process she began at the age of 14. Bingman grew up in rural Pennsylvania where the arts didn’t flourish but the landscape did.  She found mentors and a community in the area’s music scene. By age 16, she was playing regularly in that scene. Since then, Bingman’s journey over the last decade and half has been one guided by where the wind takes her. Bars, coffee shops, basements, living rooms, festivals, farms, rehab facilities, and just about every corner of a venue in driving distance. Not to mention, three albums, the latest being Loam (2013) where she weaves the stories of farmers, inmates, and lovers into a pattern of interconnecting songs, leading the listener through its story.

In 2006, she grabbed the top prize for the Susquehanna Folk Music Society’s songwriting contest. Bingman became a Regional Round Finalist for the Mountain Stage NewSong Songwriting Competition in 2011, and grabbed third place in the Pennsylvania Heritage Songwriting Competition in 2016. She’s played opening spots for the likes of Christine Lavin, Michael Glabicki, Jeffrey Gaines, Kaki King, Ellis, David Rovics, the Infamous Stringdusters, and Ann Rabson, among others.

Ten years ago, she found herself in a blues duo with Doug McMinn, and most recently formed a band, the Dilly Beans, with her pal Nell Hanssen from the band Chicken Tractor. These days, Bingman calls State College, Pennsylvania home. She has fully embraced her role as a folksinger in today’s political climate, opting to share home recordings and writings as they come and playing wherever people may gather.

Chris Bell

Solo artist and bandleader, Chris Bell is a highly compelling singer, songwriter, guitarist, producer and teacher with roots planted in the fertile soil of American roots music! Without compromising authenticity and soulful integrity handed down from his North Carolina Mom and New York City Dad, he draws equal measures from traditional and contemporary Blues, Country and Rock. Born in the District of Columbia, raised in New England and now based in Central Pennsylvania, Chris has spent most of his professional career in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. His band has played hundreds of shows from coast to coast including Nashville and has opened and shared the stage with countless national acts from legend Leon Russell, Country star Dustin Lynch and rocker Pat Travers to Blues greats Robert Lockwood, Jr. ,Coco Montoya, Guitar Shorty, Chris Duarte and Ronnie Baker Brooks! Bell has also produced 7 CDs and 2 DVDs! In addition Chris Bell now also plays the role of Stevie Ray Vaughan in Tightrope - Ultimate Stevie Ray Vaughan Tribute Band showing his early influences of meeting and seeing the Texas guitar legend SRV many times live in concert through the 80’s!
