Sometimes we get stuck behind the traditional way of doing things. But with major shifts in tech/connectivity we should look #beyond the obvious. For example, I live off-grid in rural Eswatini, yet I still work closely with the my favorite #Chicago cybersecurity community. 

I took that experience and applied it to music production. During the pandemic lockdowns I collaborated with my cousin Casey Walke and we slowly figured out how to write, record and produce high quality music with minimal gear from opposite sides of the globe! The initial songs were rough, but every track that we made taught us valuable lessons. 

If you told young Scott (me) that I would someday live off-grid in Southern Africa and I would compose, record and produce cinematic music from my laptop in the middle of nowhere, I wouldn't believe it. But here we are!

Look beyond the obvious everyday...
